I Ride Out, I Dip Out Like This

Alright, so to start this off, I can't say that the material will be kid-friendly. Most of my friends and I listen to a lot of uncensored music. We also listen to a lot of foreign and instrumental music, so there's no big discrimination when it comes to what we like. We'll try all sorts of beats and this is what this blog is about.

And here we have our first music post!

Found on a site that deconstructs mashups and mentioned to me later by a friend, CROSSHATCH (previously known as fatfuck) meshes an array of music with skill similar to Girl Talk (specifically his album "All Day"). Hailing from the UK, he isn't very well known at the moment, at least to our knowledge.

CROSSHATCH - Bounce Back

Weighing in at around 3.5 minutes, I have come to love Bounce Back because it works on so many levels. It has me singing a great mix of songs and bobbing my head ferociously, particularly in the middle with Crucial Conflict, deadmau5 and Kid Cudi. I'm not really fond of the end as much (right at Khia's My Neck, My Back), but it's not outright bad. Just not my favorite.

CROSSHATCH's mixes are fantastic with great transitions and attention to small details. Many of his mashups work tremendously well and my friend believes he is possibly working on an album. Here's to hoping because I need more in my collection.

Visit his soundcloud for more music!

It Begins.

The blog created solely out of boredom, that is. More will be revealed (not really), but this will be a place where I and possibly others can share music finds we think are interesting/good/fantastic/crack-on-a-stick. All in fun.

Stay tuned!
